Thank you to Christian Wagenbreth for braving the snow and providing us with some great tips! Join us March 11 at 7PM where Peter Sidebotham from StudioIDM will present on optimal ways to make Dreamweaver CSS designs compatible across browsers. Peter will show how the browsers handle CSS differently and give some example pages for comparison. Then he'll go through the common workarounds and talk about why some of them are better than others.

Janet Peters was an excellent presenter. We were lucky to have the nation's accessibility expert speak to us! Join us February 12 at 7PM where we'll have a "work session." I think bad weather was a deterrent on Tuesday. Three of us had a good conversation... covering the gamut! Thanks to the new folks who brought in some good information on Dreamweaver CS3. There is a suggestion that we discuss web site accessibility issues as per the WC3 Web Site Accessibility Initiative. If it's useful for the group to split into two, we can try that as well. Bring your laptops for those of us addicted to desktop towers (not portable in this application!). I discovered that Pick A Cup hosts a music composer's group on October 2, so we'll need to consistently move our meeting to the second Tuesday of each month... in this case October 9.
