DESCRIPTION:The Chicago Dreamweaver Meetup Group\n\nOur virtual presenter\,
  Dan Cedarholm\, provided a stellar presentation this past week. Thank you 
 to Dennis for bringing Dan's work to our attention. A good time was had by 
 all.  Chris Coyier will be presenting on Tuesday\, December 15\, 2009 on CS
 S Tips and Tricks. Chris' website css-tricks.com is a veritable feast of in
 formation on the topic. He's got a forum\, training videos\, freebies and s
 nippets there for all comers. Chris promises to show us some of the ways he
  used CSS to build his own current website (http://chriscoyier.net) and ent
 ertain the questions of our group. This is a medium to advanced session (Ch
 ris can go at a pretty good clip) and he doesn't code in Dreamweaver\, so w
 e'll focus on his CSS skills. Chris is also a proficient user of Wordpress 
 to deliver his xhtml/css in a content management system.  Please note: We w
 ill be meeting the THIRD TUESDAY of December\, instead of our normally sche
 duled second Tuesday. That's December 15\, folks. If you RSVP "YES\," do yo
 ur fellow attendees and I the favor of SHOWING UP. There are a number of yo
 u who RSVP "YES\," but when the evening comes\, we don't see your face. Giv
 e it your best shot folks! I know life brings unexpected changes\, but plea
 se know that there is effort and planning that goes into these sessions and
  your presence makes a difference. There's my little hand slap to all you n
 o shows out there :-).   We will be meeting at Boocoo Cultural Center\, 182
 3 Church Street\, Evanston 60201. There is a free parking lot across the st
 reet that belongs to Evanston Township High School that is open for our use
 . Otherwise\, there should be ample street parking along Dodge Avenue or Ch
 urch Street. Like any semi-urban area\, there have been crime reports in th
 is neighborhood in the past. There is no need to be unduly alarmed... just 
 use good sense as you come and go to your car.  Mark your calendars for som
 e interesting upcoming sessions. We have Marian Casey coming to talk about 
 leveraging social networking sites in creating a web presence for clients i
 n January. In February\, we have a user testing expert\, Lon Taylor coming.
  So stay tuned...  Please extend the courtesy of changing your RSVP if you 
 decide not to come. This will make space for someone else.  I look forward
